Everything you need to know about facial massage
First of all, it is always best to do a facial massage on cleansed skin – so either in the morning first or in the evening last. You also don’t need anything other than your fingers and a product that glides over your skin, which is important because you don’t want to end up dragging the skin.
When you’re ready to start, take a few drops of Decléor Mandarine Verte Aromessence Glow Serum or a dab of Green Mandarin Night Balm and gently rub your palms together to warm the product and distribute it evenly.
Bring your hands to your face, taking a few deep breaths to associate the brain with the scent.
Then use a sweeping motion to apply the product, starting from the center of your face towards the ears.
Next, work on your chin, using the joints of your second and third finger to slide along the jawline from the chin to the outer jaw. Repeat three times.
Move over the cheeks, using your fingers to make circular motions, then use your thumb and forefinger to create a clamp – be sure to work quickly to stimulate a gentle heat, then finish with a few more circular motions.
Then bring your fingers up to the eye area. Using your ring finger, circle the eyes, working up the sides of the nose and to the outer edge of the eye. This is a great movement for the pockets and it can be repeated as many times as you want.
Then work on the forehead. Use all of your fingers to gently push down to the hairline and sweep up to the ears.
Finally, finish the massage by bringing your hands again in front of your face and take a few deep breaths.
